I am Camille Thirifay, also known as @Thilli.Art, Belgian visual artist born in 1996 in Brussels. I moved to Barcelona in 2021 and fell in love with this vibrant city. Shortly after that, I stepped into the skateboarding scene and its amazing vibe and community. Quickly, I realised that the practice of skateboarding generates a lot of waste, since skaters replace their skateboard decks very often to level up their skills. It constitutes a tremendous opportunity for artists to get access to good quality maple wood. By using it as a base for canvases, with Thilli Art I give these boards a second life outside of the skatepark. Indeed, I strongly value circularity and believe that nothing should be wasted; art is also about reusing, remaking, redesigning.

In the beginning of 2023, I also got into the tattoo industry under the name of @Thilli_tatts, bringing the organic abstract nature of my work onto people’s skin.
